Free delivery of postal items and parcels for the Party Congress

Vietnam Post Corporation said that the exemption of postal charges for sending postal items, parcels and documents serving the Party Congress will be implemented from September 15 to October 31, 2015.

In addition, all postal items from people contributing opinions on the draft Political Report of the 11th Party Central Committee at the 12th National Congress of the Party are also exempted from delivery charges.

The address for receiving postal items and parcels serving the Party Congress is the Central Propaganda Department, No. 2B, Hoang Van Thu, Quan Thanh Ward, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.

To ensure service quality, Vietnam Post has requested units to publicly post information on free delivery of postal items containing comments on the draft Political Report of the 12th Party Central Committee at the 12th National Congress of the Party, so that people can know and use the service.

Receiving, handling, transporting and delivering must be done in accordance with regulations, ensuring speed, accuracy and absolute safety. All postal items containing documents related to the Congress will be stamped with priority delivery on the front of the item.

At postal service points, especially at communal cultural post offices nationwide, Vietnam Post requires continuing to store documents that post the full text of the draft Political Report of the 11th Party Central Committee at the 12th National Party Congress; Report on the assessment of the results of the implementation of the 5-year socio-economic development tasks 2011-2015 and the direction and tasks of socio-economic development for the 5-year period 2016-2020, so that all cadres, party members and people can easily learn, receive the content and contribute opinions to the drafts.

The units will also arrange staff to thoughtfully welcome people who come to read and learn about the Congress; proactively coordinate with local authorities to do a good job of propaganda and provide information related to the 12th Congress of the Party to all classes of people.
