(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 25, in Thai Hoa town, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a conference to exchange operational experiences of the People's Councils of 6 districts and towns of Highway 48 cluster, including Que Phong, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Nghia Dan, Tan Ky and Thai Hoa town.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing the practical activities of the district-level People's Councils related to the contents and areas under the functions and authority of the People's Council. That is the experience in the supervision activities of the Standing Committee of the Thai Hoa Town People's Council on many prominent and sensitive issues that are of interest to the public and voters, such as the issuance of land use right certificates; management and use of cadres, civil servants and public employees; environmental pollution; implementation of policies for war invalids and martyrs' families; Law on citizen reception, administrative reform; supervision of state agencies.... In particular, the Standing Committee of the People's Council has closely followed up on the supervision contents to ensure effectiveness in supervision.

Many issues that voters reflect, recommend and propose are related to mechanisms and policies at the macro level, issues that require large resources to implement, affecting the trust and efficiency of voter contact work. Some units suggested that the Provincial People's Council should strengthen propaganda, dissemination of documents, laws, and specialized training for People's Council delegates at all levels, while strengthening the People's Council Committees at the district level to ensure specialized and effective operations.
