The Tourism Promotion Center - Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province said that in the first 6 months of 2015, there were 1.805 million visitors staying in Nghe An, reaching 109% compared to the same period in 2014. Of which, international visitors were estimated at 29,509, equal to 102% compared to the same period in 2014. Tourism revenue was estimated at 1,327 billion VND, equal to 126% compared to the same period in 2014, of which international revenue was estimated at 6,438 thousand USD, equal to 101% compared to 2014.

In particular, the number of tourists to Nghe An increased sharply in June. The hot weather lasted for a long time, so the demand for tourism in coastal areas increased, especially on weekends. In the coastal areas of Cua Lo, Cua Hoi, Hoang Mai, Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, the food and beverage business also achieved positive results, with a large and fairly steady number of visitors on all days of the week.

It is estimated that in June 2015, tourist accommodation establishments in Nghe An welcomed and served 540,000 visitors, of which 7,000 were international visitors. Tourism revenue is estimated to reach over 491 billion VND.
