(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 18, the People's Council of Thanh Chuong district, term XVIII, 2011 - 2016, held an extraordinary session, the 14th session, to conduct personnel work under the authority of the district People's Council.
Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Major General Tran Huu Tuat - Deputy Commander of Military Region IV; representatives of the Provincial Party Organization Committee, a number of provincial departments and branches and 45 delegates of the District People's Council, term 2011 - 2016.

The meeting proceeded with the working program by approving the report and the Resolution on the dismissal of the position of Chairman of the District People's Council and the termination of the duties of the District People's Council delegate for the 2011-2016 term for Mr. Le Quang Dat, who is now retired according to regulations. Next, the District People's Council also approved the report and voted to elect an additional Chairman of the District People's Council for the 2011-2016 term. Based on the election results at the meeting, the District People's Council voted to approve the Resolution on confirming the results of the election of the additional position of Chairman of the District People's Council for the 2011-2016 term for Mr. Nguyen Huu Vinh - Secretary of the District Party Committee for the 2015-2012 term, who was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Council for the 2011-2016 term.

The District People's Council also approved the proposal and voted to elect an additional Chairman of the District People's Committee, term 2011 - 2016. Based on the election results at the session, the District People's Council voted to approve the Resolution on confirming the results of the election of the additional position of Chairman of the District People's Committee, term 2011 - 2016 for Mr. Nguyen Van Que - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, term 2011 - 2016, who has now been elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee, term 2011 - 2016.
