(Baonghean.vn) - Leading up to the National Fire Prevention and Control Day (October 4th), the Nghe An Fire Prevention and Control Police are conducting comprehensive inspections of facilities with a high risk of fire and explosion.

On the afternoon of October 1st, the Fire Prevention and Control Guidance Department of the Provincial Fire and Rescue Police conducted inspections of units and facilities with high fire and explosion risks, such as the explosives storage facility of Phuc Binh Joint Stock Company in Nghi Loc district; and the gas storage facility of Nghe An Gas Service Company Limited. The inspections covered aspects such as: construction permits, fire prevention and control approved drawings, electrical system safety conditions, fire and heat source management measures, fire prevention and control equipment, and fire fighting plans for the facilities.

Following the inspection, the team recommended and guided the facility owner to better implement measures to ensure fire safety and prevention.
