Dien Chau: Child drowns in irrigation ditch.

(Baonghean.vn) - At 6 PM on July 17, 2015, a drowning incident occurred in the irrigation ditch area of Hamlet 9, Dien Phu Commune, Dien Chau District, resulting in the death of a 2-year-old child.

The victim was Le Thi Thien Kim, just two years old, daughter of Mr. Le Van Hai, residing in Hamlet 4, Dien Phu Commune, Dien Chau District. At approximately 5 PM on the same day, the two siblings went to play by the canal bank, and Thien fell into the water and drowned.

It is reported that since the beginning of May, five cases of children dying from drowning have occurred in Dien Chau district. This is an issue that parents, schools, and local authorities need to pay attention to and raise awareness about.
