Contest "Learning about Traffic Safety Law": Many attractive prizes

(Baonghean.vn) - By answering just 20 multiple choice questions, contestants have the opportunity to receive many prizes at the contest "Learning about traffic safety laws".

That was the information announced at a meeting of members of the organizing committee of the contest "Learning about Traffic Safety Law" which took place on the afternoon of October 21 at the Department of Information and Communications, chaired by Mr. Ho Quang Thanh - Director of the Department of Information and Communications.

The contest to learn about traffic safety laws is expected to be held in November 2015 and last for 4 weeks on Nghe An province's electronic information page (http://thiantoangiaothong.nghean.gov.vn).

Comrade Nguyen Ba Hao, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, announced the contest rules.

The contest “Learning about Traffic Safety Laws” will be held in the form of an online multiple-choice test on the Provincial Electronic Information Portal. With more than 200 questions, candidates can participate in the contest multiple times with many opportunities to win prizes. The contest content includes general knowledge about the provisions of the law on traffic participation; skills in handling traffic situations, controlling vehicles, overcoming consequences and resolving traffic accidents; civilized behavior when participating in traffic, obeying the law and propagating traffic safety laws.

Comrade Le Van Tan, Director of the Electronic Information Portal, gave his opinion on the organization of the contest.

The contest aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of traffic safety education for local people, especially students, youth union members; raise awareness and self-consciousness in complying with traffic safety laws and regulations, and behavior when participating in traffic; contribute to reducing traffic safety law violations, traffic accidents and forming a culture of behavior when participating in traffic.

Overview of the meeting

Each time a candidate logs in to take the exam, the computer will randomly select 20 questions (in the set of questions) for the candidate to answer. The results will be finalized once a week with 16 prizes, including 1 first prize worth 2,000,000 VND per week. At the end of the contest, there will be 01 Collective prize for the agency, unit, or organization with the highest total number of entries over 4 weeks of competition. The contest is widely launched among officials, civil servants, students, and people as well as foreigners living and working in Nghe An province.

This is the second time Nghe An has organized the contest through the province's Electronic Information Portal. Previously, the contest "Learning about Vietnam's seas and islands" attracted nearly 134,000 participants after 6 weeks of implementation.
