The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam was pleased to return to visit and work in Nghe An province. |
Regarding the reason why Nghe An currently has only 12-13 Korean enterprises in Nghe An, he said that Korean enterprises have been investing in Vietnam for a long time, but mainly in large centers with favorable human resources and trade. However, after listening to the Provincial Party Secretary introduce the potential and strengths of Nghe An, such as being the largest province in the country; a young, highly qualified, diligent, hard-working, and studious workforce... He believes that in the future, many foreign enterprises, including Korean ones, will come to invest in Nghe An. The Ambassador informed that Korea is currently very interested in the project to build a railway from Laos to Vietnam. If Korean enterprises are selected to invest, Nghe An's workforce will be the top priority.
The Ambassador believes that in the future Nghe An will be a very developed province, becoming the political, economic and cultural center of the North Central region and of Vietnam. In the cultural field, it is hoped that in the near future, the folk heritage of Nghe An will be performed in Korea so that the people of the land of Kim Chi can enjoy this unique cultural form.

Mr. Park Nark Jong said that he had participated in the ceremony to honor Nghe An's Vi Dam folk songs, which were recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity; at the same time, he affirmed that Nghe An culture has many similarities with some regions in Korea, so he will pay more attention to cultural relations, especially traditional culture with Nghe An province. |
