Ms. Le Thi Bang Tam officially replaces Ms. Mai Kieu Lien as Chairwoman of Vinamilk Board of Directors.

The General Meeting of Shareholders held by Vinamilk on April 24, 2015 unanimously passed a Resolution on separating the positions of Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) and General Director (GDC) of Vinamilk.

The timing of the separation and the personnel will be decided by the Board of Directors at the appropriate time. To implement the resolution of the General Meeting of Shareholders, on July 24, 2015, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vinamilk's Board of Directors recently met and officially elected the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. As a result, from July 25, 2015, Ms. Le Thi Bang Tam, currently an independent member of Vinamilk's Board of Directors, holds the position of Chairman of Vinamilk's Board of Directors, and Ms. Mai Kieu Lien, former Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vinamilk, a member of the Board of Directors, holds the position of General Director of Vinamilk.

Ms. Le Thi Bang Tam, born on April 16, 1947, is from Phu Yen. Ms. Le Thi Bang Tam is currently the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank) and an independent member of the Board of Directors of Vinamilk, elected by small foreign and domestic shareholders, including 3% of Vinamilk employees, to the Board of Directors of Vinamillk since April 2013. Professional qualifications: 1969: Bachelor of Finance and Accounting, University of Finance and Accounting, Hanoi; 1987 - 1989: Doctor of Economics, Leningrad University of Finance and Economics, Soviet Union; 2001: Certificate of International Finance, North University London, UK.

Mrs. Mai Kieu Lien

Ms. Mai Kieu Lien was born in 1953 in Paris (France), graduated as a dairy processing engineer in Russia in 1976. She has worked at Vinamilk since 1976. From February 1982 to June 1983, she was Deputy Technical Director in charge of production at Thong Nhat Dairy Factory. After completing her training at Leningrad University of Economic Engineering in Russia, she was appointed Deputy General Director in charge of economics at the United Enterprise of Milk-Coffee and Confectionery I (the predecessor of Vinamilk). In December 1992, she was promoted to the position of General Director of Vietnam Dairy Products Company. From 1996 to 2001, she was a member of the 8th Party Central Committee. On November 14, 2003, she was elected to the Board of Directors and held the position of Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) until now.
