Activities to commemorate National Day on September 2nd.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd, localities throughout the province are organizing lively activities to commemorate this important national holiday.
Yen Thanh:On the morning of September 1st, the leaders of Yen Thanh district visited and offered incense and flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House - Doi Nhan Thap in Vinh Thanh commune, lit incense to pay respects to the souls of the heroic martyrs at Hon Thang in Tang Thanh commune, the Monument to 72 Soviet soldiers at Trang Ke in My Thanh commune, and the memorial house of Comrade Phan Dang Luu in Hoa Thanh commune.

In this solemn moment, before the sacred spirit of the great President Ho Chi Minh, the revolutionary pioneer Phan Dang Luu, and the heroic martyrs, the leaders of Yen Thanh district respectfully lit incense and reported on the outstanding achievements that the Party Committee and people of Yen Thanh district have strived to achieve over the past 70 years.

On the same day, communes and towns in Yen Thanh district organized camping trips and competitions on Scout rituals to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd. This was a healthy and beneficial playground for youth union members and scouts during their summer break. From the beginning of July, the District Youth Union issued plans to organize training for youth union and scout work staff on Scout rituals and provided guidance on issues related to organizing the Scout Ritual Competition.

Along with the Scout ceremony competition, some units also organized youth camping trips: such as Lang Thanh, Tien Thanh, Bac Thanh, Nhan Thanh, and Hoa Thanh.

Do Luong:Activities were organized enthusiastically in various forms, such as: promoting the historical significance of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, encouraging people to display Party flags, national flags, and slogans; organizing traditional camps and competitions in scout rituals; holding commemorative seminars and gatherings of generations of cadres who participated in the two wars of resistance against foreign invaders and for national defense; and organizing sports activities and troop drills. The activities celebrating National Day on September 2nd in Do Luong district attracted a large number of people and cadres.

Through these commemorative activities, the leading role of the Party and State in guiding our people through all difficulties and hardships, uniting them to rise up and break the chains of slavery, drive out feudalism, colonialism, and imperialism to regain independence and freedom for the nation, and build a homeland that is increasingly prosperous, has been highlighted. This is a widespread political activity with the active participation of a large number of people.

Upholding the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source," on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd, on the morning of September 1st, the leaders of Que Phong district visited and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution in the district.
Comrade Lu Dinh Thi - Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Council - presented gifts to the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Vi Thi Dien and two martyrs Vi Van Du and Vi Van Dien in Na Nga village, Muong Ngoc commune; presented gifts to the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Vi Thi Hoa and martyr Lang Van Dong in Huu Van village, Chau Kim commune; visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Lang Thi Huyen and two martyrs Lang Van Truong and Lang Van Quy in Phuong Tien 2 village, Tien Phong commune; and the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Ly Thi Tu and two martyrs Hoang Trung Dung and Hoang Trung Thong in Hamlet 5, Kim Son town.

Comrade Le Van Giap - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, visited the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Vi Thi Tinh and two martyrs Vi Ngoc Thi and Vi Van Khuong; visited and presented gifts to the family of Mrs. Lo Thi Binh, Loc village; and the family of Mrs. Lo Thi Tien, Hiep An village, Thong Thu commune.
Comrade Kha Van Tam - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee - also visited and presented gifts to three individuals who are war invalids and victims of chemical warfare in the two communes of Tri Le and Nam Nhoong.
Furthermore, on the occasion of this year's National Day on September 2nd, the district also presented 315 gifts to war invalids, victims of chemical warfare, families of martyrs, and those who have contributed to the revolution, with a total value of 50,750,000 VND. This activity demonstrates the profound concern of the Party and the State for those who sacrificed their lives and blood for the cause of national liberation and reunification, so that everyone can enjoy a peaceful life today.

In anticipation of the 70th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2015), Tuong Duong district organized many activities such as cultural performances and sports competitions.
These are annual activities organized by the Tuong Duong District Youth Union, contributing to encouraging the spirit of physical exercise and sports among young union members in this particularly disadvantaged mountainous district.
