Trung Son Primary School (Do Luong): Striving to be strong in all aspects

(Baonghean) - Trung Son Primary School (Do Luong) was formerly Trung Son Commune Secondary School, then split into two schools: Trung Son Secondary School and Trung Son Primary School... In 2014, the school mobilized the people of the commune to contribute more than 400 million VND in labor and materials to repair classrooms, more than 400 working days, leveled more than 400m3 of land, purchased desks and chairs and decorated classrooms.

Taking advantage of the support of nearly 6 billion VND from school construction project programs from the provincial and central budgets, 300 million VND from the district and commune budgets, the school has been completed, including 15 classrooms and multi-function rooms, a permanent room, a student parking lot, a school yard, and a drainage system.

Trung Son Primary School received the title of national standard school level 2 in 2015.

The school currently has 29 cadres, teachers, employees, and 2 professional groups (22 cadres and teachers). The teaching staff is sufficient in number, synchronous in structure, ensuring the effective organization of teaching 2 sessions/day. The quality of the staff is solid, dedicated, and responsible for the profession; there is 1 teacher who is good at teaching at the provincial level, 21 teachers who have achieved the title of emulation fighter at the grassroots level, 21 teachers who have been recognized as good teachers at the district level, 100% of the teachers have achieved above-standard qualifications. In the 2014-2015 school year, the school had 1 teacher who is good at teaching at the provincial level, 7 teachers who are good at teaching at the district level, 4 emulation fighters at the grassroots level. The school's successes are associated with the maturity of the teaching staff, who have always been dedicated to the profession, seeking innovation and creativity, and always received the trust of colleagues and students.

The whole school currently has 328 students. In the last 5 years, the school has 1 national excellent student, 10 provincial excellent students, 46 district excellent students, 577 school excellent students, 637 advanced students. The rate of students ranked at 98% average or higher, 70% of students ranked as good, 30% of students were excellent; especially in the 2014 - 2015 school year, 332 students completed their subjects, reaching over 98%, of which 129 students were ranked as excellent in subjects and educational activities, 100 students were ranked as good in subjects and educational activities, 9 students had outstanding achievements in study and educational activities, 6 students were ranked as district excellent students in IOE English, 14 students were selected to Ly Nhat Quang Specialized School.

The school promotes activities with rich and diverse content, builds a friendly school, active students, organizes many useful and effective clubs such as English club, folk song club, badminton club. Teachers always innovate teaching methods towards developing students' self-study ability and practical skills in accordance with the development trend of society, educating students about life skills.

To achieve the title of national standard school level 2, the school's viewpoint is to carefully study the 5 standards of the Ministry of Education and Training, do a good job of developing the project, the roadmap for implementing the project and consulting with the Party Committee and local authorities to include it in the resolution to create conditions for the school to organize the implementation of the project according to the established roadmap. Improve the management capacity of principals, staff, teachers, conduct reviews, assessments, planning, and training to improve the capacity of the team of teachers and staff to ensure that they meet professional and technical knowledge standards. In recognition of the efforts and growth of the school's staff, teachers, employees and students, in the 2003-2004 school year, the school was recognized as meeting national standards at level 1; achieved the title of Advanced and Excellent Advanced Labor Collective for many consecutive years, successfully completed the tasks set by the industry and locality, and was awarded a certificate of merit by the District People's Committee. The Party cell achieved clean and strong status; the trade union and team excellently completed all assigned tasks. The Youth Union continuously achieved excellence for many years.
