Thunderstorm warning and weather forecast nationwide on August 28
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today, August 28, Hanoi's weather forecast is cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. In the evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. At night, there will be rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will range from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius.
Northern Region:
After days of intense heat, due to the influence of a compressed low trough with an axis through the North, there is a possibility of forming a low vortex over the Northeast and the Gulf of Tonkin, so from August 28 to September 3 in the North and North Central regions, there is a possibility of widespread thunderstorms: August 28-30: moderate rain, heavy rain; rainfall in mountainous areas is about 100-150mm, in some places over 200mm, in midlands and plains about 50-100mm.
From August 31 to September 3:In the coastal areas of the Northeast and the Northern Delta, there will be heavy to very heavy rain; rainfall is generally 200-300mm, with some places over 400mm. On September 4-5, the sky will still be cloudy but the rain will tend to decrease gradually.
Central region:From August 28 to September 5, sunny days, hot in some places, showers and thunderstorms in the evening, temperature: 25-36oC. In the North Central region, from August 31 to September 2, there will be moderate to heavy rain; rainfall is about 100-150mm, in some places over 150mm.
Central Highlands and Southern regions:From August 28 to September 5, sunny days, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening. In the Central Highlands region, from August 28 to 30, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening.
