96.28% of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people enjoy the correct regime

(Baonghean.vn) - The results of the General Review of preferential policies for people with meritorious services in the province show that 2.16% of beneficiaries are still not fully benefited, and 0.056% are receiving the wrong benefits.

On the afternoon of October 26, the Provincial People's Committee held a Conference to summarize the program of reviewing the implementation of preferential policies for people with revolutionary contributions in 2014 - 2015.

Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the Conference; Attending the Conference were representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Overview of the Conference

Implementing Directive 23/CT-Ttg dated October 27, 2013 of the Prime Minister on General review of preferential policies for people with revolutionary contributions in 12 districts, cities and towns in the province, the total number of subjects reviewed was 105,189 people, belonging to 6 groups of subjects. The review results showed that the correct number of beneficiaries was 101,567 cases (accounting for 96.28%); the wrong number of beneficiaries was 60 cases (0.056%); the number of beneficiaries was incomplete was 2,282 cases (2.16%).

After the review, by September 30, 2015, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs had reviewed and appraised 7,758 cases requesting post-review regime settlement, mainly posthumously conferring and awarding the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother, settling regimes for former Youth Volunteers who had completed their duties in the resistance war, and recommending examinations at the Provincial Medical Council for those who participated in the resistance war and were infected with toxic chemicals...

Speaking at the Conference, comrade Le Xuan Dai highly appreciated the efforts of sectors and localities in implementing the General Review of preferential policies for people with meritorious services and resolving post-review backlogs.
