Que Phong: Election to fill vacant positions in the District People's Council

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 28, 2015, the 12th session of the 17th term of the Que Phong District People's Council held a meeting to dismiss and elect additional members to the District People's Council.

Overview of the meeting

Accordingly, the District People's Council considered several proposals for the dismissal of Ms. Ha Thi Tuyet, Vice Chairwoman of the District People's Council, due to her transfer to the position of Chairwoman of the District Fatherland Front; the dismissal of Mr. Lo Van Bao, Deputy Head of the Economic and Social Affairs Committee of the District People's Council, due to retirement and receiving social insurance benefits as prescribed; the dismissal of Mr. Luu Van Hung, Standing Member of the District People's Council, 17th term, to take on a new assignment as assigned by the Party Committee; and the dismissal of Mr. Trinh Xuan Dung, Member of the District People's Committee, due to his transfer to the position of Chairman of the Que Phong District Farmers' Association.

Also at this session, the District People's Council elected Mr. Luu Van Hung to the position of Vice Chairman of the Que Phong District People's Council, 17th term, 2011-2016. At the same time, it confirmed the election results of Ms. Ha Thi Tuyet to the position of Deputy Head of the Socio-Economic Committee of the District People's Council, 17th term, 2011-2016. Mr. Lu Van Tien, Head of the Agriculture and Rural Development Department, was elected as a member of the District People's Committee, 17th term, 2011-2016.
