Forest rangers, border guards, and forest owners have regularly coordinated with the People's Committees of 14 communes and towns to conduct patrols, detect and handle 107 cases of forestry law violations. Administratively handled 105 cases, confiscated nearly 295 m3 of various types of wood; 159 kg of wild animals, 820.5 kg of other forest products, 3 chainsaws, 10 motorbikes. Selling forest products - administrative fines collected more than 1,717 million VND to the state budget.

In addition, in the first 9 months of this year, deforestation for farming has also shown signs of increasing. According to statistics, in the first 6 months of 2015 alone, the district had 79 cases of deforestation with an area of ​​53.2 hectares.

In order to effectively protect forests and minimize illegal deforestation in the area in the last 3 months of the year, Que Phong district has strengthened the direction of the grassroots in implementing forest protection work. Continue to maintain the activities of the interdisciplinary team in forest protection patrol work. In particular, 2 cases of illegal logging have been brought to mobile trials to deter, educate and raise people's awareness in forest protection.
