The ASEAN Vietnam portal has been officially launched.

The ASEAN Vietnam portal was officially launched in Hanoi on September 21st.

The event, jointly organized by the ASEAN Information and Communication Steering Committee and the Ministry of Information and Communications, aims to celebrate the establishment of the ASEAN Community at the end of the year and commemorate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam's accession to ASEAN.

Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son affirmed: The establishment of the ASEAN Community reflects the increasingly close ties between its members.

The construction and launch of the ASEAN Vietnam Portal will contribute to introducing, raising awareness, and promoting cooperative initiatives to build the ASEAN Community for the goals of peace, stability, development, and prosperity.

In addition to providing information, the ASEAN Vietnam Portal also features in-depth analytical sections, quickly and accurately conveying diverse and multifaceted information, helping nations to draw closer together for a diverse and rich cultural heritage.

The ASEAN Vietnam portal has three official domain names: aseanvietnam.vn, vietnamasean.vn, and asean.vietnam.vn.

In addition to providing information for the operation and implementation of activities of the ASEAN Information and Communication Steering Committee, the ASEAN Vietnam Portal also actively contributes to promoting the image of ASEAN and its member countries to the Vietnamese people and overseas Vietnamese. It also serves as a standard database on ASEAN to provide information to media outlets for widespread dissemination to all segments of the population.

The ASEAN Vietnam portal is presented in both Vietnamese and English with various sections, including an introduction to ASEAN (general overview of ASEAN, ASEAN member states, the ASEAN Charter, ASEAN Chairs throughout history, ASEAN's external relations); news and events (news about ASEAN activities, Vietnam's activities within ASEAN, Vietnam's role and contributions within ASEAN and ASEAN's role in international relations); information lookup (information about tourist destinations, currencies, national flags of ASEAN countries, documents, etc.); library (images, videos, audio); community pillar (political security, economy, culture and society); Q&A and contact (information exchange on the activities, economic development, culture, science and technology, and national defense and security of ASEAN member states); ASEAN window.../.
