Binh Duong gathers to introduce new Technical Director

Preparing for the BTV Cup taking place from November 6, Binh Duong has been training since October 26.

The new technical director of the Southeast team is Mr. Dang Tran Chinh - replacing Mr. Mai Duc Chung who left after the 2015 season ended.

Coach Dang Tran Chinh was the head coach of Binh Duong many times, but then he retired and worked in youth training. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son still holds the role of head coach with assistants Tran Minh Quang and Nguyen Quoc Hung.

Another personnel change of the reigning V-League champions was also announced. Mr. Nguyen The Huan replaced Mr. Nguyen Minh Son as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Binh Duong Football Sports Joint Stock Company from October 26. Mr. Nguyen The Huan is young (born in 1988) but has spent 5 years as deputy to Mr. Cao Van Chong - the company's CEO.

All national players such as Cong Vinh, Trong Hoang, Mai Tien Thanh, Xuan Thanh were specially allowed to gather late and exempted from competing in this BTV Cup. Therefore, in the first days of the team gathering, the key members did not appear on the field.

Center back Phuoc Tu went to practice with his teammates but is still recovering from an injury. Meanwhile, the foreign players of the team from the land of Thu also gathered later in early November. Striker Abass is still recovering from an injury and may return to Binh Duong in December.

Binh Duong promoted 10 young players from the U19 team to try out and seek opportunities to play for the first team in the 2016 season. The young members are all students who grew up under the guidance of coach Dang Tran Chinh.

The 2015 V-League champion is also testing midfielder Phan Thanh Phuc - a former national team player from Da Nang.
