(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 24, 2015, at Tay Hieu commune (Thai Hoa town), Tay Hieu commune solemnly held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition of meeting New Rural standards awarded by the Provincial People's Committee and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the commune's establishment.

After 20 years of establishment, especially since implementing the national target program on new rural construction, Tay Hieu has made many improvements. Within 4 years, Tay Hieu has mobilized a total of 323.6 billion VND to complete 19/19 criteria, of which the mobilized source from the people reached 204 billion VND to contribute to rural traffic, build cultural institutions in hamlets and repair and cover houses. The whole commune no longer has makeshift houses and 100% (42/42 km) of inter-hamlet and commune roads are concreted and asphalted; 70% of intra-field roads are hardened. In particular, thanks to effective cooperation with farms in building production models and developing service economy, the average income per capita has increased rapidly, from 19.9 million VND/person in 2011 to 35.2 million VND/person in 2015...

He spoke highly of the efforts of the Party Committee and people of Tay Hieu commune in mobilizing resources to excellently implement the NTM criteria according to regulations.
