Giving solidarity houses to single women

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 30, the Fatherland Front of Hoang Mai town coordinated with the town's Tax Department to present a solidarity house to Ms. Le Thi Dinh in Quynh Lien commune.

Ms. Le Thi Dinh, 40 years old, is a single mother raising two children, the older one is in 6th grade, the younger one is 4 years old. Previously, Ms. Dinh and her children lived with their elderly grandmother in Hamlet 10, Quynh Lien Commune in a dilapidated and seriously degraded house.

With support of 50 million VND from the Town Tax Department, 10 million VND from the Women's Union of Quynh Lien Commune and the help of working days from relatives and organizations of the commune, Ms. Dinh started building the house on August 10.

After more than 2 months of construction, the house was completed and put into use. This is the 48th Great Solidarity House after 2 years of Hoang Mai Town's establishment and the 11th house in 2015 to be completed.
