256 entries were submitted to the Nghe An Art and Current Affairs Photo Contest 2015.
(Baonghean.vn) - The work "Continuing the Paths" by author Chu Trong Tuan won first prize in the 2015 Nghe An Art and Current Affairs Photography Contest. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded one second prize, three third prizes, and five consolation prizes to authors with high-quality works at the closing ceremony and awards presentation held on the morning of October 22nd.
The 2015 Nghe An Art and Current Affairs Photo Contest, launched by the Nghe An Literature Association, had the theme "Nghe An: Integration and Development".
After more than four months of implementation, the organizing committee received 256 entries from 31 participating authors. According to experts, the photos submitted to this year's competition were quite consistent and of good quality. The authors showcased a rich and diverse range of themes and genres, from different regions within the province, vividly portraying Nghe An as a province rich in potential, on the path of integration and development.

The competition organizers selected and awarded the first prize to photographer Chu Trong Tuan for his work "Continuing the Paths"; the second prize was awarded to journalist and photographer Tran Duy Ngoan for his work "Dance in the Sky".
In addition, the competition also awarded 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes to authors with high-quality works.

The Nghe An Art and Current Affairs Photo Contest is held annually to promote the creative movement among members and photography enthusiasts throughout the province.
The results of the competition also contributed to the success of Nghe An Photography at the 2015 Regional Photo Festival with 1 Gold Medal, 1 Silver Medal, a team award, and 23 works participating in the photo exhibition.
