(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 17, Vinh City Police said they were temporarily detaining two suspects, Nguyen Thi Thuong and Ngu Thi Man, both 17 years old, residing in Nam Dan district, to investigate the act of robbery.

Before that, Thuong took Man on a motorbike on Le Hong Phong Street (Vinh City) to look for "prey", and discovered a woman riding an electric bicycle in the same direction ahead, with a phone in her back pocket.

The driver accelerated closer and snatched the phone. The victim lost control of the steering wheel but managed to read the license plate of the motorbike driven by the girl as it sped away.

From this detail, the police tracked down and determined that the last owner of this car, which had been bought and sold many times, was a woman in Nam Dan town. Nguyen Thi Thuong borrowed this car to commit the crime.

On November 16, Thuong and Man were arrested by Vinh City police and admitted their actions. Both said they sold the stolen phone for 800,000 VND and split the money.
