Logistics Department of Military Region 4: Training in first aid, emergency care, and treatment in peacetime and wartime

(Baonghean.vn) - The Logistics Department of Military Region 4 has just coordinated with the Le Huu Trac Burn Institute of the Military Medical Academy to organize a training course on first aid, emergency care, burn treatment and on-site emergency care in peacetime and wartime.

Attending the training course were 39 comrades who were military medical directors, infirmary chiefs, medical representatives and doctors of infirmaries at unit levels of the Military Region; medical representatives and doctors of some departments of Military Hospitals 4 and 268.

Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Nhu Lam - Deputy Director of Le Huu Trac Burn Institute awarded certificates of training in first aid, emergency aid and burn treatment to students.

During the 3 days, the students studied and researched some contents on first aid, emergency care, initial treatment and basic treatment for burn patients; emergency care, handling some common situations in combat, training and daily life; updated some issues in classifying and handling emergency care for mass patients.

These are important contents that help the medical staff at all levels of the Military Region improve their awareness, skills in first aid, emergency care, initial treatment and basic treatment of burn patients, and on-site emergency care for wounded and sick soldiers in peacetime and wartime as a basis for performing assigned tasks.

At the end of the training, the trainees were granted a certificate of continuing training from Le Huu Trac Burn Institute on "First aid, emergency and burn treatment"./.
