Students are exempted from military practice when they are physically weak.

Joint Circular 18/2015/TTLT - BGDĐT - BLĐTBXH of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs regulating the organization of teaching, learning and assessment of learning outcomes of the subject of National Defense and Security Education in vocational training institutions and universities will take legal effect on October 23.

According to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 4 of this Circular, students who are not physically fit will be exempted from learning military technical practice content. Specifically:

- Students with disabilities, with a certificate of disability according to the law on people with disabilities;

- Students who are not physically fit or have illnesses that exempt them from military service according to current regulations.
