The Japanese are renowned worldwide for their hard work and meticulousness, and Coach Toshiya Miura has shown his attention to detail. This was evident once again during this training camp.

On the very first day of training, Coach Miura asked the medical team to check the health and identify injuries for all players to ensure that everyone could complete the training program. After receiving the doctor's report that goalkeeper Phi Minh Long and midfielder Vu Minh Tuan were injured, the Japanese coach made a replacement and created conditions for the two injured players to receive treatment. It is worth mentioning that Coach Miura personally checked the injuries and asked about his players.

During this training session, most of the training sessions of the Vietnam National Team took place at the Viettel Football Center – a completely new location. An hour before the first training session, when the players had not yet arrived, Coach Miura and his assistants were already at the new field. They brought a tape measure to measure the entire length and width of the field to make sure that the amount of exercise for the players was adequate. In addition, the Japanese coach also wanted to check whether the field area was within FIFA standards or not. This was especially important because it would determine the players’ sense of space.

Having been an assistant and knowing that Coach Miura is very meticulous and careful, Coach Dang Phuong Nam, head of the training department of Viettel Football Center, has prepared the most complete facilities. Due to the additional requirement for goals to practice exercises in a small area when playing on 1/3 or 1/2 of the field, Viettel Football Center has ordered to work all night to have more goals to serve the Vietnam National Team.

Everyone admires the diligence, meticulousness and science of the Japanese. Coach Miura also has a clear point of view that we have very big dreams but let's start from the smallest things...
