Round of 32 second leg result: Barca 6-1 Vilanovense (6-1 on aggregate)
Goals: Dani Alves 4', Sandro Ramirez 21', 31', 69', Munir El Haddadi 51', 76' - Juanfran 29'
Facing third-division opponent Vilanovense in the second leg of the King's Cup round of 32, coach Luis Enrique decided to rest several key players. This proved to be a wise decision, as the makeshift squad proved too strong. After Dani Alves opened the scoring, young strikers Sandro Ramirez and Munir El Haddadi scored to secure a 6-1 victory. Sandro even scored a hat-trick. Vilanovense only managed a consolation goal through Juanfran, reducing the deficit to 1-2.
With a resounding victory in the second leg, Barca became the first team to qualify for the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey. Enrique's team will find out their next opponent when they participate in the draw for the next round later this month.
Compared to their 4-0 victory over Sociedad last weekend, Barca only retained three starting players: Dani Alves, Javier Mascherano, and Jeremy Mathieu. These three players formed the "backbone" that helped the Nou Camp team dominate both in terms of possession and goal-scoring ability against Vilanovense. Dani Alves himself scored the opening goal with a spectacular long-range strike from 35 meters.
After taking the lead in the fourth minute, Vilanovense quickly collapsed. Sandro didn't miss his chance, scoring a hat-trick with decisive and skillful finishes. El Haddadi also scored a brace with a beautiful header and a rebound after Sandro missed. Vilanovense also had a spectacular goal from Juanfran's long-range shot from 20 meters, but it was only a consolation goal.

Also in the matches on the evening of December 2nd, other teams played their first leg games. Real Madrid won 3-1 away against Cadiz, another third-division opponent. Ronaldo was rested in this match, allowing young player Cheryshev to come on and open the scoring. Midfielder Isco scored two more goals for Real, while Marquez scored a consolation goal for Cadiz.
