Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked Gia Lai Provincial Police to investigate, clarify the cause of the accident and strictly handle it according to the law.

After the particularly serious traffic accident in Gia Lai, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc requested Gia Lai provincial police to urgently investigate, clarify the cause of the accident and strictly handle the organizations and individuals who violated the law and caused the accident.

As reported, at 9:30 p.m. on November 27, at Km 1,568+700 of Ho Chi Minh Road, in Ia Khuol Commune, Chu Pah District, Gia Lai Province, a particularly serious traffic accident occurred between a car with license plate 81M-5781 and a tractor. The collision resulted in 5 deaths and 7 injuries, including 3 serious injuries.

The Head of the Traffic Safety Committee of Gia Lai, Binh Phuoc, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Kon Tum, and Lam Dong provinces directed districts, towns, and cities to step up propaganda, education, and dissemination of legal regulations on traffic order and safety in the province, especially regulations prohibiting agricultural vehicles from participating in traffic on national highways.
