(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 24, at An Hoa commune - Quynh Luu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Ho Phuc Hop had a meeting with voters of Son Hai and An Hoa communes.

At the meeting, the provincial and district People's Council delegates reported to the voters of the communes about the expected content, program, and time of the upcoming provincial and district People's Council sessions; reported on the implementation of socio-economic, national defense and security tasks in 2015; and reported on the results of resolving voters' petitions at the previous session.

Voters of An Hoa and Son Hai communes have raised a number of recommendations such as: The progress of dredging Lach Thoi is too slow, unscientific, and does not comply with the flow rules, causing great obstacles for fishermen's boats to enter and exit; National Highway 48B has seriously degraded in many sections, causing difficulties in people's travel, trade and commerce, and posing a potential risk of traffic accidents. Therefore, all levels and sectors need to promptly find solutions to overcome this; pay more attention and create more favorable conditions for fishermen to build new large-capacity boats according to Decree 67 of the Government, especially in completing documents and procedures to avoid harassment and inconvenience;

Voters also recommended that all levels should support cement for concreting rural roads, speed up the progress of building new rural areas; strictly handle agricultural vehicles, homemade 3- and 4-wheel vehicles; currently, coastal communes are lacking clean water, requesting higher levels to support the construction of water plants in An Hoa or Quynh Tho communes to serve the people's daily needs; Voters also wondered why housing support for people with revolutionary contributions is currently too slow...

After listening to voters' petitions, the provincial and district People's Council delegates explained the petitions within their authority and the opinions outside their authority.
