(Baonghean.vn) - On August 25th, Team 2 of the Nghe An Market Management Department discovered and seized a truck carrying over 1,000 children's toys, classified as prohibited goods, worth approximately 10 million VND.

Authorities inspect a shipment of children's toys that are on the list of prohibited items.

A truck with license plate 73C 02112, driven by Tran Van Anh, residing in Tan Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province, was transporting over 1,000 plastic children's toys, including swords, daggers, guns, and bows and arrows, which are prohibited items. The estimated value of the shipment is approximately 10 million VND. The goods were being transported for sale in Quang Binh province.

With only a month left until the Mid-Autumn Festival, the market for children's toys is heating up, with vendors selling toys of unknown origin and those on the prohibited list operating more frequently. Therefore, authorities are tightening inspections and taking stricter action against those involved in this business.
