A woman's body was found in a drainage ditch.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 29th, Mr. Le Duc Thang, Deputy Head of the Nghi An Commune Police (Vinh City), stated that residents had just discovered the body of a woman in a drainage ditch in the area.

According to initial information, at around 4:30 this morning (November 29), a local resident fishing was shocked to discover the body of a woman and a motorbike in a ditch next to National Highway 46, in Trung Tam hamlet (Nghi An commune).

At the scene, the body of a young woman, still wearing her helmet, and her motorbike with license plate 37N2 - 9654 were found lying in the ditch.

Shortly afterward, the victim was identified as Ms. Bach Thi Ha (28 years old, residing in Kim Tan hamlet, Nghi An commune, Vinh city).

The victim's damaged motorcycle lay in the ditch.

According to preliminary assessments by authorities, this may have been an accident resulting in death. It is known that the victim's family is involved in the betel nut trade, and the victim usually went to deliver goods to distributors early in the morning.

The incident is currently under investigation by the authorities.
