Truck collides with bicycle, one child dies

(Baonghean.vn)- The Traffic Police Department of Yen Thanh District said that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area, killing an 8-year-old child.

The accident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. on October 3, when Thai Thi Vy (8 years old), residing in Quang Long village, Quang Thanh commune, was riding her bicycle from the village to the town. When reaching the curve in Son Thanh commune, she was hit by a truck with license plate 37C - 17617 driven by Nguyen Huu Nghia (born in 1975), residing in Son Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, driving in the opposite direction.

The collision caused Vy to fall onto the road and get caught under the truck, leading to her death. Upon receiving the information, Yen Thanh District police quickly arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the incident.
