(Baonghean.vn) - At 3:30 p.m. on November 8, while fishing, Nguyen Dinh Trong (born 2001), a resident of Mo Than village, Tam Quang commune (Tuong Duong), a 9th grader at Tam Quang Secondary School, went swimming in the river and was swept away by the water. Up to this point, Trong's body has not been found.

Mr. Kha Van Mao, Chief of Tam Quang Commune Police, said that at that time, Trong and some friends went fishing on the Lam River bank near the foot of Khe Bo Hydropower Dam (Tam Huong Village, Tam Quang, Tuong Duong). While fishing, Trong took off his clothes and waded into the river to bathe and was swept away by the water.

At that time, many people were fishing near this area, however, due to the strong current and the location where Trong was bathing quite far away, people could not save him in time.
