Tuong Duong: Student swept away by water while fishing.
(Baonghean.vn) - At 3:30 PM on November 8th, while fishing, Nguyen Dinh Trong (born in 2001), residing in Mo Than village, Tam Quang commune (Tuong Duong district), and a 9th grade student at Tam Quang Secondary School, went into the river to swim and was swept away by the current. As of now, Trong's body has not been found.

According to Kha Van Mao, Head of the Tam Quang Commune Police, at the time mentioned, Trong and some friends went fishing on the Lam River near the Khe Bo hydroelectric dam (Tam Huong village, Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district). While fishing, Trong took off his clothes and waded into the river to swim, and was swept away by the current.
At that time, many people were fishing near the area; however, due to the strong current and the fact that Trong was swimming quite far away, no one was able to rescue him in time.
