32 decisions approving compensation for site clearance of Hua Na Hydropower project have not been paid yet.

(Baonghean.vn) - According to the report of Hua Na Hydropower Joint Stock Company, the compensation for land acquisition and clearance of the project was transferred to the Compensation Council of land acquisition and clearance of the approved VND 691,470,247,939/VND 748,343,657,726. However, there are still 32 decisions approved by the District People's Committee for compensation for land acquisition and clearance with the amount of VND 48.7 billion that have not been paid.

According to the report of Hua Na Hydropower Joint Stock Company, by October 2011, the Company had paid 691,470,247,939 VND to the compensation council for land acquisition and clearance (of which operating expenses accounted for 14.8 billion).

After having the funds, the Compensation Council proceeded to pay compensation as well as provide rice to support stabilizing the lives of households and organizations according to State regulations with a budget of 676,117,082,082 VND (including rice support funds).

Currently, there are 32 Decisions approved by the District People's Committee for compensation and support funds with a total budget of 48.7 billion VND, the investor has not yet allocated funds to the Council to make payments to individuals and organizations. (In which: compensation funds for organizations are more than 11.37 billion VND; compensation funds for individuals are more than: 2.24 billion VND; funding to support life stabilization is 5.2 billion VND, funding to support production stabilization: 29.98 billion VND).
