Argentina vs Brazil: El Clasico postponed due to heavy rain

The big match between the two giants of South American football was postponed to 7am on November 14 because El Monumental stadium was flooded.

According to Goal, heavy rains have flooded the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires, with the Argentine Football Federation's vice president, Claudio 'Chiqui' Tapia, announcing that the match was 99% likely to be postponed before the two teams arrived at the stadium.

Paraguayan referee Antonio Arias waited another 45 minutes. He wanted to know how the weather would develop before deciding whether to delay or postpone the match. After consulting with the leaders of both teams, referee Arias decided to postpone the match for 1 day.

Accordingly, the South American super classic will take place at 7am on November 14.
