(Baonghean.vn) - This information was released by the Department of Justice during a meeting to gather opinions on the Project: "Strengthening the implementation of the construction, management and exploitation of the criminal record database in Nghe An province" on the afternoon of November 18th.
Comrade Le Xuan Dai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the meeting.

The project aims to improve the timeliness and accuracy of criminal record certificate issuance through the management of criminal record data. Simultaneously, it clarifies the responsibilities of relevant agencies to enhance the effectiveness of state management of criminal records.
The project developed by the Department of Justice focuses on three main areas. Firstly, the functions and responsibilities of the Department of Justice in managing criminal records. Specifically, the Department of Justice is the local data integration center for criminal records, encompassing 16 types of criminal record information. The organization and storage of criminal record information ensures that each individual has a unique record.

The plan also addresses the exchange and provision of information to build a criminal record database between relevant agencies and between provincial justice departments nationwide. Additionally, it proposes adding three staff positions for criminal record work in the Administrative Justice Department.
After hearing the opinions of various departments, Comrade Le Xuan Dai suggested that the Department of Justice should clarify the legal basis and structure of the project proposal to ensure its appropriateness, and continue to gather feedback from other departments to finalize the proposal and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee in the near future.
