Ambulance plane carrying 7 people missing in western Senegal

According to Senegal's Civil Aviation Authority, on the evening of September 5, an ambulance plane carrying seven people, including a French patient, went missing in the west of the country while flying from the capital Ouagadougou of Burkina Faso to the capital Dakar of Senegal.

The agency's announcement said the private plane, departing from Ouagadougou, disappeared from radar screens at 7:08 p.m. local time on September 5 while it was 118 kilometers west of the capital Dakar.

The plane was carrying three crew members and medical staff, including a doctor and two nurses.

Senegalese authorities have identified the nationalities of the passengers on the plane as one French, two Algerians and one Congolese citizen.

The Senegalese military is currently searching for the missing plane./.
