Checking the implementation of the Joint Resolution on drug prevention and control

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 27, the Inspection Delegation of the Central Steering Committee for Joint Resolution 03 inspected and evaluated the implementation of Joint Resolution No. 03 between the Ministry of Public Security and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on "Coordination of actions to prevent and combat drugs among youth" in 2014 and the first 10 months of 2015 of Emulation Cluster No. 4 at Nghe An Provincial Police.

From 2014 to present, the Steering Committee of NQLT 03 of the provinces under Emulation Cluster No. 4 has proactively implemented many programs, plans, measures, directed the organization to thoroughly grasp the police force and the Youth Union at all levels on coordinating actions to prevent and combat drugs; advised the Party Committee and the government to deploy activities to coordinate actions to prevent and combat drugs among local youth.

As the Head of Emulation Cluster No. 4, the Steering Committee of Nghe An Police has issued many directive documents and effectively implemented NQLT 03 in units in the cluster. The Youth Union and the Police force at all levels have many activities closely, regularly and effectively coordinated in organizing propaganda and education, raising awareness among young people about the harmful effects of drugs and the fight against drugs through various forms of propaganda...

At the meeting, units in the Cluster exchanged effective methods, lessons learned as well as shortcomings in drug prevention work.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Major General Nguyen Phong Hoa, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Police, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the police force and the Youth Union at all levels in Emulation Cluster No. 4. In the coming time, Emulation Cluster No. 4 needs to continue to coordinate and promote propaganda work to each member, youth, and each family and residential area; strengthen inspection, guidance, and urging the implementation of the contents of the Resolution and plans of the NQLT Steering Committee 03 to promptly detect and correct shortcomings, and commend collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the implementation process.
