According to the People's Committee of Thai Hoa town, the total budget revenue of the town in 2015 was estimated at 104 billion VND. This figure reached 130.5% of the plan assigned by the province and nearly 130% of the target set by the Town People's Council Resolution.

Notably, some revenue items achieved relatively high levels, such as: land use right fees of 42 billion VND, reaching nearly 191% of the People's Council Resolution; corporate income tax estimated at 128% of the plan; personal income tax estimated at nearly 185% of the plan; mineral exploitation right fees estimated at 282.5% of the plan; and resource tax estimated at 197.5% of the plan.
Conversely, some revenue items are likely to fall short of the assigned targets, such as VAT, which is estimated to reach 92.4% of the plan, and other non-state revenue, which is estimated to reach 49.7% of the plan.

However, current revenue only meets about one-third of the local needs. Total state budget expenditure in the area is estimated at nearly 307 billion VND for the whole year.
In 2016, Thai Hoa Town set a target of collecting over 112 billion VND in state revenue within its jurisdiction, including 47 billion VND from land use rights fees.
