(Baonghean.vn)-The live TV program "Spring on the border - Helping children go to school" Spring Binh Than 2016 will be held at Tri Le Border Guard Station, Que Phong district, Nghe An province.

Today, December 25, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Border Guard Command, Nghe An Border Guard in coordination with Que Phong district, Nghe An province held a meeting to approve the plan for the live television program "Spring on the border - Helping children go to school" Spring Binh Than 2016.

With the purpose of affirming the humanity, solidarity and attachment of the Border Guard with the people in the border areas; exploiting touching stories; honoring good experiences, creative ways of doing things, and the kindness of officers and soldiers of the Border Guard; reflecting on the difficulties affecting students in border areas, movements to help students in difficult circumstances, students from ethnic minorities to excel in their studies, confidently integrate into the community.

Within the overall program, the General Department of the Vietnam People's Army directed the organization of activities such as: camping, making green banh chung, medical examination, medicine distribution, free eye surgery for ethnic minorities in Que Phong district, Nghe An province. At the meeting, the relevant units agreed on the plan and implemented specific plans on: ensuring security and order, power grid, location, and event organization area.

The live TV program “Spring on the border – Helping children go to school” Spring Binh Than 2016 will be held at Tri Le Border Guard Station, Que Phong District, Nghe An Province at the end of January 2016. The program will be broadcast live on VTV – Vietnam Television, Ho Chi Minh City Television, Nghe An Radio and Television and several other TV channels.
