The Vietnam Education Publishing House recently organized a workshop to implement the teaching of Vietnamese-English bilingual textbooks for provincial education departments and schools.

This bilingual Vietnamese-English textbook series is compiled and translated according to the current structure, content, and curriculum from grades 3 to 12, helping students become familiar with learning mathematics and natural sciences in English.

This series of books will raise the level of English language instruction for students in three stages.

Level 1: Teachers primarily teach in Vietnamese in the classroom, assign homework or group exercises for students to practice in English, and correct assignments in English to facilitate communication.

Level 2: Teachers will teach in class using a combination of Vietnamese and English while communicating with students, exchanging ideas, and organizing activities in English. Students will use English to take notes and solve exercises, and the teacher will correct the exercises in English.

Level 3: Conduct teaching and organize activities entirely in English.
