Google reveals special use of artificial intelligence

Google has just announced that it has had to rely on the help of a special artificial intelligence (AI) system called RankBrain to process complex user search queries.

Bloomberg quoted a Google source as saying that most of the search results returned in recent months were the work of RankBrain. This artificial intelligence is used to answer new search queries from users.

According to reports, Google encounters about 15% of new queries each month that have not been previously recorded in the search history. Processing these new queries is relatively difficult and time-consuming. However, with the added power of many extremely complex algorithms, RankBrain can easily answer these questions.

RankBrain can provide accurate answers to ambiguous and complex search queries, such as the question: "What is the job title of the consumer at the top of the food supply chain?"

Google uses hundreds of complex “signals” to provide the most useful answers to search queries. RankBrain is just one of many such “signals,” a complex form of artificial intelligence.
