From the wonderful scenes to the pure emotions... the film has touched everyone's childhood memories.

"I See Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass", a film adaptation based on the work of the same name by writer Nguyen Nhat Anh, directed by Victor Vu, officially aired on September 30. Immediately after that, the film created a fever that covered theaters.

With a clear plot, telling about the poor childhood of two brothers Thieu and Tuong in a familiar and poetic Vietnamese village.

It is the place that witnessed the first love of both of them, family affection, sincere brotherly love, as well as jealousy, envy and pure pain in the process of growing up.

With beautiful, poetic scenes of the Phu Yen countryside re-staged as the setting of the 80s. Vast fields, canals, showers, wet windows, poverty... director Victor Vu has brought the sweet and painful childhood that everyone has gone through.

When the trailer was released in May, "I see yellow flowers on the green grass" viewers eagerly awaited. They were curious and wondered if the movie would live up to the expectations as the trailer had done.

By the end of September, the film was officially released and exceeded the expectations of both viewers and producers.

Touching emotions and awakening memories is the most beautiful thing the film has done for the first audiences to enjoy.

People can both cry and laugh on the screen because of the gentle childhood memories that fill their chests. There is joy, sadness, unhappiness, suffering... but above all is the pure love that children encapsulate for each other.

So intense yet so peaceful, so poor yet so emotional. Emotions burst and intertwine until the end of the film. It can be said that it has been a long time since a film has touched the hearts of the audience so much.

Right after 2 nights of release in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, the movie "I see yellow flowers on green grass" quickly created a big fever.

Following this event, the 2 early screening days (September 30 & October 1) with special screenings nationwide were also fully booked and the climax was the explosion on the first screening day (October 2). As of October 2, a total of more than 110,000 tickets were sold nationwide.

It can be said that the movie "I See Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass" suddenly became an unprecedented phenomenon in the history of Vietnamese cinema.
