Stopping more than 1 ton of diseased pork from being "turned" into fresh meat
Hanoi's interdisciplinary force inspected and discovered that traders were "magically" transforming diseased pork into fresh pork, preparing to sell it at Phung Khoang market.
At around 3:00 a.m. on December 5, Team 4 - Environmental Police Department (Hanoi City Police) coordinated with the Inspectorate of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to inspect, discover and seize more than 1 ton of "dirty" pork at Phung Khoang market, Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi.

At the time of the inspection, the pork from dead and sick pigs was decomposing and was being "magically" transformed into fresh pork by traders, preparing to be sold at Phung Khoang market.
Exploiting on the spot, Hoang Van Chi (born in 1987) and Nguyen Khac Sang (born in 1972, both residing in My Hao, Hung Yen) said they collected sick and dead pigs from people living in the surrounding area and brought them to Phung Khoang market for consumption.
Authorities have confiscated and destroyed all of the "dirty" pork.
