The General Department of Engineering accepted the improvement and upgrade of the BTR-152 armored vehicle.

The Military Command of Tuyen Quang province, the Technical Improvement Acceptance Council, and the General Department of Engineering have conducted acceptance testing and upgrading of the diesel-electric BTR-152 Armored Vehicle.

During this period, the General Department of Engineering has accepted 5 BTR - 152 Armored Vehicles of the Military Command of Tuyen Quang Province and officially put them into operation to serve training and combat readiness missions. These vehicles have been upgraded and equipped with diesel engines instead of the previous gasoline engines.

The General Department of Engineering accepted the improvement and upgrade of diesel - electrification of BTR-152 Armored Vehicle.

During the acceptance process, the Technical Council of the General Department of Engineering directly inspected each technical system and drove the vehicles on different routes. Through the acceptance, the Technical Council of the General Department of Engineering assessed: After improvement and upgrading, all vehicles were in good technical condition, the clusters and systems on the vehicles were synchronized and operated stably; the equipment on the vehicles and the paint color inside and outside the vehicles were all in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the General Department of Engineering.

The acceptance council also requested the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province to focus on completing the vehicle documents and work papers according to regulations to facilitate the process of mobilizing and using the vehicle. Up to now, the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province has completed 100% of the diesel engine replacement for the BTR-152 Armored Vehicle.
