(Baonghean) - "The most important thing for a person doing front work is to gain the trust of the people. To do that, you yourself must be a good example"... That is the sentiment of Ms. Tran Thi Vinh, Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Front Work Committee of Le Loi block, Quang Tien ward (Thai Hoa town).

Before becoming Head of the Front's Working Committee, Ms. Vinh had worked in many positions, from a women's union officer to the head of the Red Cross Association of the bloc... The practical work has given her a lot of working experience, especially in "understanding the reasons" of the people in the highlands. Ms. Vinh confided: "The bloc has up to 98% of the population being ethnic minorities. Accordingly, there are customs and distinct cultural features, so speaking and propagating the policies and laws of the Party and State so that people believe and follow is also a big challenge."

Up to now, in the block area, there are 15 models with an income of 100 - 150 million VND/year.

The highlight is the mobilization and donation work to build houses of gratitude and solidarity for poor households. In the past 5 years, in addition to the support of the State, Ms. Vinh and the Front Committee and member organizations have reviewed the list of poor and near-poor households, from which they have mobilized people to contribute money and labor to build and repair 12 houses for poor and near-poor households in the block. Along with that, there is a plan to help in many forms, mobilizing kind-hearted individuals to support and sponsor poor households, households in difficult circumstances or create conditions for loans to develop production and business.

In 2012, when the State had a policy of mobilizing people to build new rural areas, Ms. Vinh was also a pioneer in donating land, cutting down trees, and mobilizing party members and prestigious elderly people in the block to implement first. The rain soaked in the water for a long time, her efforts were finally rewarded, the households in the block understood and all agreed to implement. Therefore, up to now, in the area of the block, 3,000/5,000m2 have been concreted. In the block, there are no lawbreakers; the rate of cultural families is 88%.

With her efforts during her work, Ms. Vinh has received many certificates of merit from all levels. However, when asked about her achievements, Ms. Vinh just smiled: "For me, the most precious reward is to be trusted by the people."
