Neither of the two Barcelona players spoke English, so the Portuguese star had to explain things for them during the 2015 Ballon d'Or awards ceremony.

This information was revealed by Cristiano Ronaldo himself. When asked about a memorable moment from the awards ceremony, the Madrid striker said: "That night, I was the interpreter for Neymar and Messi. Neither of them knew English. I jokingly told them they should pay properly. We've always had a good relationship and are getting closer."

Ronaldo, Messi, and Neymar were the three players who received the most votes for the 2015 Ballon d'Or. Messi ultimately won the award, while his teammate Neymar came in third.

Since Rafael Benitez took over as Real Madrid's coach, Ronaldo has shown signs of declining form. Spanish media reported that the two did not have a good relationship. After Zinedine Zidane took over, the 31-year-old striker noticed more positive signs.

"Zidane and Benitez both want what's best for the team. But Zidane creates a driving force. Real has more personality under him, and that's how football should be," Ronaldo shared. "Personally, I have more affection for Zidane than Benitez. Don't ask why. This is a vibrant time for us. The players are all training hard and are in good shape."

Real Madrid scored 10 goals in their first two matches under Zidane. The Royal team's attack has become more attractive. However, they face a one-year transfer ban from FIFA. Real Madrid have stated they will appeal the decision.
