Both Barca players did not know English so the Portuguese star had to explain on the 2015 Ballon d'Or award night.

The information was revealed by Cristiano Ronaldo himself. When asked about a memorable memory on the award night, the Madrid striker said: "During that night, I was the interpreter for Neymar and Messi. Neither of them knew English. I teased them that they had to pay me properly. We always had a good relationship and became closer and closer."

Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar were the three players who received the most votes for the 2015 Ballon d'Or. Messi was the eventual winner, while teammate Neymar finished third.

Since coach Rafael Benitez took over as Real coach, Ronaldo has shown signs of declining form. Spanish media reported that the two did not have a good relationship. After Zinedine Zidane took over, the 31-year-old striker saw more positive signs.

"Zidane and Benitez both want the best for the team. But Zidane creates momentum. Real have more personality under him and that's how football should be," Ronaldo shared. "Personally, I like Zidane more than Benitez. Don't ask me why. This is an exciting time for us. The players are training hard and are in good shape."

Real have scored 10 goals in their first two games under Zidane. The Royal team has been more beautiful in attack. However, ahead is a one-year ban from signing players from FIFA. Real confirmed that they will appeal.
