Nghia Dan: Visiting and giving gifts to parishes on the occasion of Christmas 2015

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of Christmas 2015, on the morning of December 22nd, the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district organized delegations to visit, congratulate, and present gifts to Catholic establishments in the area.

The delegations visited and extended Christmas greetings to the parishes and priests of Con Ca and Vinh Giang (located in Nghia Loc commune); Dong Len parish (Nghia Hoi commune); Nghia Thanh parish (Nghia Trung commune) and Dong Tam parish (Nghia An commune), and also visited families of policy beneficiaries and those who rendered meritorious services to the revolution.

Leaders of Nghia Dan district presented flowers to congratulate representatives of the parishes.

During their visits, the delegation leaders, on behalf of the Nghia Dan district leadership, acknowledged the contributions of Catholic dignitaries in encouraging parishioners to live virtuous lives, actively contributing to the socio-economic development and national defense and security of the locality; they also expressed their hope that Catholic dignitaries would continue to cooperate with the local government to live virtuous lives, and strictly abide by the policies of the Party and the laws of the State.

The leaders of Nghia Dan district also encouraged Catholic compatriots who have contributed to the revolution to always uphold the tradition of national unity, overcome difficulties together, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, boost production and business, and continue to improve their material and spiritual lives to jointly build a more prosperous and beautiful Nghia Dan homeland.
