(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of December 26th, a charity fundraising concert titled "Warming Hearts on the Border 2015" was held at Hanoi Law University.

Attending the music night were: Mr. Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Secretary of the Nghe An Hometown Association in Hanoi; Mr. Tran Do Thanh - Head of Youth Affairs of the Nghe An Hometown Association in Hanoi; Ms. Phan Ngoc Minh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Hong Lam Outstanding Businessmen Association of Hanoi City, along with a large number of people, students, and scholars from Nghe An residing in Hanoi.

This program was launched by the Nghe An Youth Association to call on philanthropists to support and help students and people in the disadvantaged border area of ​​Bac Ly commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province.

The charity concert featured performances by many beloved singers and bands who had participated in and won awards at television singing festivals, as well as several famous speakers. The charity concert also auctioned off two paintings depicting the natural beauty of Nghe An province.

To date, the "Warm Hearts on the Border 2015" program has received 66,232,000 VND in cash donations, along with 600 notebooks, 500 packs of dried food rations, and many other items such as clothing, blankets, scarves, shoes, etc.

The money raised from the charity concert will be used by the Nghe An Youth Association to buy books, notebooks, blankets, warm clothes, and other necessities to donate to children and ethnic minority people in Bac Ly border commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province, for the 2016 New Year.
