Manny Pacquiao promises to give his all to the fans in his last fight against Timothy Bradley.

The match will take place on April 9 in Las Vegas. Not long ago, the legendary Filipino boxer confirmed that it would be his last time competing.

"I'm happy to hang up my gloves after this fight, because of what I've done. Of course I'll be sad, but that's life," Pacquiao said.

The match with Bradley will be the 37-year-old's first time competing again after losing to Floyd Mayweather in the "boxing match of the century" in early May 2015.

"I am very grateful for this great opportunity before retiring. You gave me the chance to prove that I can still fight until the last minute," he thanked the fans.

Pacquiao has fought Timothy Bradley twice. He lost the 2012 bout, but got his revenge in the next fight two years.

"This is a good opportunity, a privilege to fight Bradley again. I chose Bradley because I believe he is much different from the last time we met. He has improved a lot and we know that. We saw that in his last fight with Brandon Rios," Pacquiao commented on his upcoming opponent.

The famous boxer believes that this is the right time for him to retire from boxing and focus on his political career. Pacquiao is a congressman and wants to run for the Philippine Senate.

"I remember when I started boxing. I started boxing because I wanted to help my family, to help my mother, and now I'm ending my career to help my people, the Filipinos. I never thought I would achieve what I have. Now, I'm ending my career because I want to help the Filipinos, I want to serve the people," Pacquiao shared about his future path.
