Que Phong: 100 athletes participate in the Phu Dong Sports Festival.

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 5th, Que Phong district inaugurated the 14th Phu Dong Sports Festival in 2015. More than 100 athletes from 33 primary and secondary schools in the district participated.

Over 300 students performed together at the Sports Festival.

This year's sports festival includes eight competitive events: Table Tennis, Chess, Elementary School Football, Badminton, Sepak Takraw, Stick Push, Junior High School Volleyball, and Athletics. These are sports that schools have incorporated into their curriculum and organized as recreational activities for students.

The athletes are competing in table tennis.

The Phu Dong Sports Festival, held every two years, is a sports event for schools. It provides an opportunity for students to promote physical fitness and improve their health, contributing to holistic education in schools. The festival selects outstanding athletes to participate in the 17th Phu Dong Sports Festival of Nghe An province.
