Vinh City: 21 key indicators met or exceeded the plan.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 31st, the People's Committee of Vinh City held a meeting to summarize administrative work in 2015 and implement tasks for 2016.

In 2015, the People's Committee of Vinh City focused on directing and effectively implementing the plan in all areas. The city achieved and exceeded the targets for 21 out of 21 basic plan indicators. The growth rate reached 8.6%, higher than the same period in 2014. The economic structure shifted in the right direction, and budget revenue reached 1,504 billion VND, an increase of 33% compared to the same period.

The city is focused on reviewing, amending, and supplementing administrative procedures related to land auctions, land use rights recognition, and compensation for land clearance. It is also proactively addressing difficulties related to investment capital, especially counterpart funding for the Vinh urban development sub-project.

Vinh City leads the entire province in the field of education; administrative reform is gradually becoming more systematic; and the poverty rate has decreased to 0.68%.

GiveThe Prime Minister's commendation certificates are awarded to individuals with outstanding achievements.

At the conference, agencies and units in the city signed a commitment to participate in the patriotic emulation campaign in 2016.

Also at the closing ceremony, on behalf of the President of Vietnam, representatives of the city leadership awarded the Third-Class Labor Medal to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vinh City. They also presented Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to one collective and five individuals; and awarded Certificates of Merit and commendations from the People's Committees of provinces and cities to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2015.
